..You know you're the mum of a toddler when you have an opinion on which Wiggle is the hottest (Anthony, in my opinion, however Jeff is my favourite overall).
Life is busy busy as I've now started "working", looking after some extra kids at home. My little extrovert loves the extra playmates, but day naps are a challenge.
Latest visit to the allergy specialist for the re-occurrence of nasty eczema has resulted in D and I becoming "gluten-free", with excellent results. We re-did the skin tests and found she has grown out of her nut allergy which is excellent, although her dairy and egg allergies are more severe than they were when we last tested. I'm enjoying the challenge of eating dairy/egg/gluten free!
I've also become aware that I am now practicing "extended breastfeeding", as D is past the age where the majority of people have weaned. Wow!! she's still gets lots of comfort and nutrition from her milkies, and is still so young and dependent that I really can't imagine how it would be for her to not have it. Even before I thought of having kids, and before I looked into any parenting styles or methods I remember saying to Phil that I would be happy to breastfeed a toddler and that I didn't see the logic in weaning for weanings' sake, so even if I were to have followed a more mainstream route I imagine our breastfeeding relationship would still be going.

Jenn - whats up. Im back with the blog. Hows life?
Good for you! I still feed my 3 1/2 year old during the night and although I'm ready to give it up and start sleeping properly (!!) I love that she loves it so much and that it nurtures her and heals her when she is sick.
I just stumbled on your blog and wanted to say hi and congrats on extended breastfeeding! I'm still nursing my 2.5 year old and it has really strengthened our relationship.
PS. My blog has a bunch of dairy free recipes (we're vegans) so check it out! :) ~Paris
Oh, Anthony ALL the way. When I worked as a nanny the kids I had were utterly obsessed with The Wiggles. So much so, I knew every word to every song. I miss Greg though, Sam is a total dork.
Aaaand this is when you know you're a Mum, you start having conversations (and getting emotional) about The Wiggles... err.
