Stackermann Wedding

Last weekend Eliane Ackermann married Kevin Stack. They haven't taken on board my advice to combine both their last names to Stackermann so they are now Mr and Mrs Stack. It was a lovely wedding and reception and here are the photos to prove it! (yes i know..we go to A Lot of weddings!)

Some idiots in a chinese hut

It happened!

I handed in my notice at work. Last day to be 22nd Dec - which is actually only 3 weeks before my contract expires. There would probably have been another Physio job at the hospital which I coulda applied for once my contract finished but I would've really sucked in the interview...y'know like when they ask 'whats your special interest area?' I don't think 'morning tea', or 'hometime' would suffice. Or when they ask what my goals are and im say 'finding a job that I actually look forward to going to - unlike this one". Don't think I'd get the job. So anyway ill be taking christmas off, then starting a new track in life. Haven't actually decided what yet, but may do some casual Physio work. or just something completely different. Ill get back to you when I figure out what exactly!!

Im doing it.

Tomorrow, im heading into a meeting with the boss (whom might I add is incredibly difficult to communicate with) armed with a resignation letter. If I'm offered some enticing job for next year ill consider staying on but this is quite unlikely so this is it. I couldn't even last one year in the real world. Wish me luck and stay tuned....

My brain hoits!

Just survived day 1 of my rotation to a different area of work. Got a killer headache, and some very challenging patients ahead of me. grrrrrrr. once again I wish jobs which I actually WANT to do (like retail or hairdressing or nannying) could pay off my student loan.

Robinson Wedding

Here are a few pics of the wedding we went to this weekend.

This is a family photo of my household (no-Phillipa and I didn't just dress alike to be 'twins', we were bridesmaids so it was required)

I don't understand the people bidding on my auctions on trademe at the moment!
I have a book on there - not new or anything, 2nd hand, that i was given. I think it retails for about $28.. and its currently on $41!!!! -and the auction doesn't close til sunday! who are the idiots bidding on it?? don't they know they could just go to the bookshop and buy it for way cheaper. I almost feel bad, like im ripping them off or something

just playing

im figuring out how to put pics on this thing.
hehe. i like this one! so saucy. i should have been born 500yrs ago. or whenever it was that they dressed like this.

well I did it!

i figured i spend so much time on the internet i really should have a blog.
besides im getting a little sick of browsing trademe so need another hobby to keep my daily habit (of sitting on my ass) going.
not really sure about these blog things though.. i mean do people actually post stuff about how they really feeling and what they're really thinking? I have a hard enough time verbalising that kind of stuff to my nearest and dearest so its unlikely ill get all *personal* for all and sundry (gosh i hate that saying) to view.
well i guess we'll see.
for the meantime ill keep it lighthearted.
GREYS ANATOMY!!! all finished for the season. now ive got nothing to look forward to on a monday.
oops hope no-one from my (monday) homegroup is reading this... but to be honest while i usually enjoy homegroup once i actaully get there its not something i'd probably count down the hours to.
so there you are folks...my very first blog post!
